Why I teach at CPLS: I continue teaching because I know Christ opened the opportunity for me to teach at CPLS in the formative years of the school. The positive faculty and staff relationships are a highlight of my teaching. Working with the children and families at CPLS is a daily pleasure and privilege.
Personal Testimony: The summer of 1970, I went to see the “Jesus” film. It was difficult watching Christ suffer and die on the cross for my own personal sins. That night, I asked Christ to come into my life, cleanse me, forgive me and be first in my life.
Personal Interests: Hiking on the mountain trails in Cascade and Woodland Park Colorado with my family. Gardening, spending time with my four adult children in Oregon, Kansas City and Topeka. I love grandparenting and caring for my “young at heart” ninety year old parents!
Activities/Extra-curriculars: Monthly support group for Topeka women and caregiving for my parents
Adventures and Enhancements:
Teaching adult Floral Arranging course at Delaware University
Training and Education Courses in Child Evangelism
Teaching Christian Morals and Ethics classes to Russian and Ukrainian Educators
Teaching English as a second language to children in Samara, Russia
Campus Crusade ministry in Romania with Romanian orphans
Best Time to Contact: Please use the CPLS email. I check emails in the early mornings and at the end of the day.
