Years at CPLS:  2004-present

B.S., Bible Education – Manhattan Christian College

Why I teach at CPLS:  I have a passion and true spiritual yearning to educate and equip young children to grow and develop into young Christian warriors like Jesus. I love to motivate children in a fun-loving, positive and encouraging learning environment and be a positive influence in their lives. In my classroom, a strong level of trust is developed which allows me to provide direction to each child.

I consider it a privilege to be a teacher at CPLS and believe it is my responsibility to guide my precious students to learn and fulfill the “Great Commission” as stated in Matthew 28:18-20 that says”: go and make disciples of ALL nations, teaching them everything Christ has commanded.” Using the power of the Holy Spirit that works in me, I strive each day to prepare and nurture my students. I count it a JOY to see children grow in the love of our Heavenly Father.

Personal Testimony: At the young age of 8 years old, I accepted Christ as my personal Lord and Savior. I count it an awesome opportunity to live and work through my daily bible study and prayer time as I allow Christ to be Lord of my life.

Personal Interests: In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and 4 adult children, cooking, going on walks, swimming, gardening, shopping, and cheering on Washburn University, Wichita State University and Kansas State University.
