Why I teach at CPLS: Cair Paravel is a place that helps children grow into life long learners. I am excited to be a part of a place that gives me the opportunity to help cultivate a love for Christ and provide students with the information and skills they need to develop a lifelong commitment to an active, healthy lifestyle.
Personal Testimony: I grew up in a home that encouraged the teachings of Christianity. My parents sent me to a Christian school and I regularly attended church and youth group. Even though I was surrounded by Christianity, I was never truly pushed to understand my need for a Savior and hold to my own personal beliefs about God. I remember when I was around 12 years old the Holy Spirit convicted me that I had been living the life of a Christian without any fruit or conviction. It was at that time that I truly came to grips with the knowledge that it couldn’t be anything of my own accord that brought me to Christ. I was a helpless sinner in need of God’s redeeming grace. Since then, I have immersed myself in ministries and participated in teaching children’s bible classes, counseled at many Christian youth camps and attended a Bible College. It was there that through the promptings of my boyfriend (now husband), readings of helpful books and the Scriptures that I came to the Reformed faith. God is faithfully growing me in the likeness of His Son.
Personal Interests: I enjoy spending time with friends and family, reading, playing volleyball, being in the outdoors, crafting and cooking.
