For more than a decade, CPLS students have consistently outscored all public and private high schools in Shawnee County in addition to outscoring both state and national averages. Another important distinction is that every member of the CPLS senior class is required to take the ACT.
In recent years, our society has placed an increasingly high value on test scores. While we are very proud of our student’s high ACT scores, we recognize they are not the only indicators of a solid education.
Ingrams Business Magazine Recognized CPLS in 2016
In the 2016 Book of Leads & Lists, Ingrams Business Magazine reviewed over 50 private high schools in a 22-county region surrounding Kansas City (including Lawrence and Topeka). Cair Paravel Latin School ranked #8 on the list of the Top 25 based on ACT scores, student / teacher ratio and other academic data.
In terms of value, the other private high schools listed 1st-7th had tuitions ranging from $8,400 to $22,000, (9%-34% higher than tuition at CPLS) further highlighting the value of a CPLS educational experience.
