We are so proud of our graduating Class of 2019- here’s a look at seven Senior Spotlights which highlight their future plans and special memories at CPLS!

Favorite CPLS Memory: “My favorite memory was at the high school retreat this year because it was an awesome first opportunity to lead the high school. I loved seeing everyone come together, have fun, and bond. My favorite part of the retreat was being half asleep and then seeing one of the seniors drop a glow stick from the ceiling. “
What She Will Miss Most: Anna will miss the people at Cair Paravel the most when she graduates. Nowhere else are there so many compassionate, wise, loving people around. She’s loved joking and growing with them.
Avery Brungardt
Future Plans: This fall, Avery plans to attend Washburn University, majoring in Elementary Education.

Favorite CPLS Memory: “The first night of high school retreat this year, when the senior class was setting up and they stayed up most of the night talking and throwing glow sticks in each other’s rooms. I thought it was a great way to start our last year together.”
What She Will Miss Most: Lakin is going to miss the close relationships that she has with everyone at Cair Paravel. The support system that she’s had here is so valuable and she will miss all of the students and teachers so much. CPLS has been her home away from home for so long, and she will miss being with her best friends every day and getting to joke around with them in the hallways.
Lillie Harper
Future Plans: Lillie will be attending K-State and plans to major in Food Science, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or something in Math. Lillie plans to someday open her own restaurant, bakery, or ice cream parlor.
Favorite CPLS Memory: ” I loved Fifth Quarters because it gave students fun and meaningful high school experiences in a safe and low-pressure environment. I also loved spring tours because they are an opportunity for students to enjoy themselves and learn together, making memories with friends that feel more like family. “
What She Will Miss Most: Lillie will miss the family atmosphere at Cair Paravel, which allowed her to form deep relationships with classmates, whom she considers her brothers and sisters. Even though graduation is leading her classmates down different paths, she knows that the friendships they’ve made will last a lifetime.
Elizabeth Rollenhagen
Future Plans: Lizzie Rollenhagen has received a scholarship for soccer and will be attending Baker University in the fall.
Favorite CPLS Memory: “Playing all three sports has been a highlight of my high school career. My experience as a basketball, soccer, and volleyball player, has given me close friendships and the opportunity to get to know a lot of younger players. “
What She Will Miss Most: Lizzie will miss the family aspect of the school, where all the teachers care about their students and are always looking to help them advance in every way possible. She will also miss the students and the chance to develop good relationships based on the biblical foundation fostered by Cair Paravel’s community.

Future Plans: Nathan will attend K-State in the fall to study either Computer Science or Civil Engineering.
Favorite CPLS Memory: “My favorite memories from my years at Cair Paravel are the times I spent outside of school with the friends I made in class. “
